An Ohio GOP lawmaker and physician who final year described Black Individuals as “colored” in questioning their hygiene as it relates to contracting COVID-19 will now direct the condition Senate Wellness Committee, in accordance to the Associated Press.

Huffman took to Facebook shortly after the incident to apologize for his remarks.

Huffman was tapped to direct the overall health committee by his cousin, GOP Senate President Matt Huffman.
